I was really thinking of having a vacation…be it in the province or anywhere. I just loved travelling, going to places I’ve never been and even going in the same place I’ve been to that I really love. There are many places that I and Ace wanted to visit within the country and outside. But we are prioritizing first to visit our own vacation spots within the country. The probability of having a vacation outside the country is less than 5% considering the expenses it will cover. But I am not suppressing the idea for I believe we can afford to go out of the country one of this days…and I hope blogging will help me materialize that dream. Well, that motivates me even more to blog *lol*. Anyways, not like any trips, going outside of the country for a vacation will take a lot of preparation. Of course, I don’t have any idea about the places to visit but thanks to technology that brought the world within my reach. HotelReservations.com is a great resource in planning our dream vacation. The site offers a lot of stuffs that makes vacation planning more convenient for anybody. A directory of hotels, motels and resorts come with a comprehensive list of contact numbers, room rates and even a picture of the establishment. This way, I can freely choose where to stay for a reasonable price. This will save me much time searching from place to place, opening one hotel site after another. Vacation rentals and vacation packages are also offered by HotelReservations.com. Seems the site is a one-stop shop for a great vacation because even flights can be booked thru them online. This is a great relief for busy people who loves to travel, yet, have little time searching through the net to look for hotels, motels or resorts within the place they will be visiting. One thing that I like with this site is their great deals…hotel room discounts of up to 70%. It’s a big big savings for us and will surely book with them for our trip soon.

Except from my Dad, all family members went home last weekend. This is one of the rarest time we went home without any event. We usually go home only during holidays or special occassions. The trip was unplanned. Hence, all our relatives were shocked upon seeing us…full force. However, this is one of my relaxing stay at home because I don’t worry about work anymore no matter how long will I stay. Everybody enjoyed the moment of being together, doing our all-time favorite…eating. This is what I like in rural living, foods are affordable and fresh. I am looking forward for another trip to our hometown and I hope it will be more often.

Got this interesting thing from Blogthings on what kind of fruit am I…and the answer is….
You Are a Banana
|

You are mellow, easy going, and a total softie on the inside.People find it really easy to get along with you. You suit most tastes. And while you’re very sweet, you’re not boring or ordinary.
You have an attraction to the exotic, and you could show up anywhere… doing almost anything!
You are spirited, energetic, and a total kick to be around.
You’re also quite funny. Your sense of humor is on the goofy side, and it fits you well.

This is my niece, Daniella Cassandra, who is fondly called Ella (after my mother’s nickname Ely). Ella is a source of joy to everybody since she was born. Since she is the first grandchild, Mamang and Daddy are so happy with her. A very adorable and witty child. She even initiates a conversation with strangers. She is one of my sources of comfort. One time, she saw me crying in my room and she said to me, “Tita, ok lang yan..” and hugged me. It’s so amazing that a little child (she was 2 years old then) tries to give me comfort. She even told her mom, who was awakened by the rolling thunders one night, “ok lang Mommy, wag ka matakot” (It’s ok Mom, don’t be afraid). These are only few of her comforting words, encouraging words to everybody whom she thinks needs it. More of Ella next time. :-)
