Wifey roles aren’t that easy and it honed my skill in multi-tasking. Yes, I am saying it right. Multi-tasking. Doing 2 or more things simultaneously such as blogging while cooking, blogging while doing the laundry, cooking while hunting for opps, cooking while doing the laundry….those are only few of the light things I do simultaneously. Here’s where my super power emerge. After all those tasks, the only thing that lifts me up is the assurance that hubby is happy with what I did. This morning, I woke up early to prepare breakfast and hubby’s “baon” for work. I finished cooking just in time that he emerge from the bathroom. So, he has ample time to prepare and have breakfast before leaving for work. So, he left with full stomach and with “baon”.

During lunch, I received a text message from him that he has eaten already and that he is so FULL with his fried chicken and cucumber salad…thanking me for preparing his lunch. I’m used to that compliment from hubby everytime his tummy is full but I am always flattered knowing that he is still thankful for that. Ace never fails to say THANK YOU for the food I prepared. Oh well, he’s always full when I’m cooking ’coz he’s the number one fan of my dishes…hehehe. He is also just honest to tell me that he missed my dishes when I don’t cook.

At dinner, Ace asked me what I will cook for breakfast and his lunch tomorrow so I need my super powers again tomorrow morning. Need to be in bed early so that I could be up early tomorrow. BTW, we had boiled green mongo with ampalaya leaves for dinner. That makes Ace full again. Hope he’ll gain weight soon. :-)
