It’s been a while since I last joined PhotoHunt. For this week’s theme, BEAUTIFUL, here’s a beautiful nipa house float made of different flowers. This is RDL’s (a skin care company) entry for the 2008 Kadayawan Floral Float Parade. I was really awed at this float as it took so much patience and effort to put together all the flowers to make a very beautiful float. Too bad that we cannot preserve the hut, just the photograph of it that we took. Happy Photohunt!

I am enjoying my rest! It’s been more than a week since I last worked in OHJ and I am feeling a little better as I am saved from constant back pains and hyperacidity. But then, I am taking so much time resting and never accomplished so much except from the laundry and updated blogs. Ace liked it better because he doesn’t hear me complain about my back pains since then though I wake up a little late these days. Next week, I hope to finish sorting our “to go” and “to keep” clothes and will be back working again…but this time, as on-call. I won’t force myself to sit for 8hrs and suffer from pertinent back pains after. My cash flow will suffer but I’d better choose to tighten belts a little bit so that we could make ends meet than earning bigger and suffer from hyperacidity and back pains.

TGIF! Time for Sky Watch once again and this is one of the days I’m looking forward to every week. Here’s a photo I took while waiting to watch the Davao River Parade. Clouds stretch beautifully in the sky and I can’t help but take a snap of it together with the scenery below that makes a beautiful photo. FYI, the river is the Davao River and by the end of it is the Davao Gulf. Hence, we are near the Delta but can’t capture the whole scene from our location.

The colourful banderitas (trimmings) symbolizes festivities. The banderitas along San Pedro Street, in front of the City Hall is one of my most admired banderitas ever because of its arrangements. I have a photo of this Banderitas during the night last week but it is more attractive during day time.
