Smartbro is making me crazy again! I have read an email last night about complaints of other smarbro users. I thought I am not affected because I can still open websites without hassle. But this morning, I was so pissed. I can only open a website thru google. I have to search google first and click on the result. But it only worked with this site and my photo blog. I cannot open my Life’s Lessons and other sites. After posting my entry in Weekend Snapshot, my website won’t load again. It’s getting in my nerves as I need to double time to finish my assignments.

Since I could only open my yahoomail, I sticked to it and decided to clean up my inbox as I have more than a thousand unread mails. I went thru it and deleted everything from spammers and those website notifications. Other not-so-important emails from former colleagues were also deleted except for the signage layout I sent to one of the print-ads company in the city. That makes me think if the signage is now up or the management are still undecided. It took them almost a year to decide on the layout and months to decide who will do the signage. When the layout is finally done, it took them months again to talk about the structure….the style of post, etc. and when it’s finally done, budget is short because the ads company have increased prices. The culprit of the delay, no other but the plant manager. If only he was firm in his decision, the signage will be up after a few deliberation. I think I need to email Mama Juliet and ask how is the signage. If it’s not done yet, I would suggest they’ll go for digital signage and not stick on the old-fashioned one. It’s a lot convenient for them as if the plant manager will change his mind and wanted something again, they don’t need to have another signage done. This is really good for the plant manager they have now as he changes his mind from time to time (more often than females do). Hence, good luck to the people who will work on it.

Ella saw eyeglasses in a Korean RTW store near our church building and asked Carol to buy it as she said she is cute wearing it. After the worship service, Manang Inday and Manong Joey (which she fondly calls Mommy Day and Daddy Jo) treated us to a buffet lunch. Since we are all 10 (including Ella) we took a jeepney because if we’ll take a taxi, we need 2 or 3 taxis. While on the jeepney, she noticed me and Ace on our sunglasses and she immediately said “Mommy saan yung shades ko?” (Mommy, where’s my shades?). She was referring to the clear glasses with black frame she bought earlier. I and Che2x were at SM yesterday to shoot in the Agro-Trade Fair of Kadayawan 2008 which started last week. We were there last Sunday after we’ve been to People’s Park but I was not able to shoot much because my battery’s empty. I didn’t heed Ace that morning that I should charge the battery. It’s still full when I checked it so I was so confident the battery will survive a long day shoot. Later did I realized that I used the 400D Friday afternoon for the sunset shoot and Ace used the cam on Saturday for their team’s basketball game. After the battery went DEAD, we went inside SM to find where we can charge it. I thought of asking a favor in CameraHaus where we bought the DSLR and some of our gears. The saleslady knew us already so we didn’t have to beg for the charging of battery. After almost an hour, we got back the battery. It’s not fully charged yet but can managed to take some shots.

Anyway, we went back to the trade fair yesterday for my photo shoot. I am not yet done with my shoot when the sun finally set and I had a hard time getting the flowers’ photos because natural light is better. When it’s dark, we heeded to Victoria Plaza to meet Carol, Donald and Ella. Ace is on his way also from work. In the jeepney, I noticed the super big earrings of a gay. I was really looking at it and it seems so heavy and was like “his ear-pierce must be so big now”. Later did I realized it was a clip on earrings that most gays are using. Hmm…I think I wanna try that one. Will find a clip-on earrings next time so I can also wear super big earrings.
