Trespassers

One of the things that I really don’t like and usually get disgusted with is being robbed of my personal or private space especially of people that I consider insignificant others. When I was still working, I don’t feel comfortable when people I don’t consider as friends get inside my cubicle and talk to me too close. At home, I am usually pissed at people getting inside the yard without permission though this is not my own place but this is my comfort zone. Also, I don’t like visitors who gets inside the yard and call us near the door. They should be  outside the gate until they are told to get inside. Though our gate cannot be locked, people should not get inside unless told to do so but with the exception of significant others. Many times I get so pissed at the neighbors who get inside the yard and climb the coconut tree without permission. I know I should not be rude to them but the fact that they just get in here without asking permission really pissed me and everytime that happens, I don’t care if they are our neighbors. I really hate trespassers or people intruding others properties much more getting things without permission.

Yesterday, as I was posting my Ruby Tuesday entries, I heard coconuts fell to the ground. I just didn’t mind it until I noticed coconuts fell one after the other. There must be somebody up in the tree harvesting the nuts. When I went out, I felt blood rush up to my head at the sight of the neighbor up in the tree and I shouted “asa ka nananghid nga mosaka og mokuha og lubi?” (to whom did you asked permission to climb and get coconuts?” The guy was trying to hide himself in the tree but so sorry for him because I saw his arms as he is holding on to his position. He stayed there for a couple of minutes and then got down but didn’t get out of the yard immediately. Instead, he got his cellphone and kept himself busy with it. Then he turned his back on me and pee! What the heck! Why this guy don’t have manners? I wanted to shout at him, really. Then I said in a loud voice “kung naa mawala diri kamo ang suspect kay kamo ra sige sulod diri” (when something will be lost in here, you and your siblings are the suspects because you usually gets inside the yard). I mean it. I almost wanted to tell him they (together with his siblings and others in their household) are the suspect for the stolen blouse of Che2x. At the moment I wanted to unleash Puto and Maya. I don’t care if they will bite him. Actually, that’s what I wanted to happen so that they will stop from intruding private properties. But I doubt if that will stop them from getting things that aren’t theirs. He finally went home (actually their house is just in front of ours) and others in their household saw me staring really hard at them.

I cannot count with my fingers how many times I have caught this guy or his siblings get inside the yard to get coconuts without permission. Yesterday they might have thought nobody was inside the house because they saw me went out in the morning. Sorry for them that they didn’t saw me when I arrived at lunch so they  think I’m out and can freely get coconuts as much as they wanted. With this, I believe they are getting inside the yard when nobody’s here. So one of them must have stolen Che2x’s blouse hanged in the clothesline. Do you think I should still treat them as neighbors? I really hate people like that. Yes, coconuts are just petty things and I could really give them the freedom to climb the tree and get some fruits as long as they ask permission. But the fact that they get inside here and climb the trees as if it’s their own when they think nobody’s around is  STEALING. Stealing, be it small or big things is the same. So when they can steal coconuts, they are also stealing other things. Simple as that.
