My first super scary, knee-trembling experience 6 years ago….

This was during the team building of the management staff and operations cadets of  Macondray Plastics, Inc. held in Outland Adventure, Ma-a, Davao City. I could clearly recall how it was like to be high up from the ground walking in that hanging, swaying log or they call catwalk with nothing to hold on to but my focus and balance. That was so scary because I have acrophobia and it took me some time to do my first step to cross the log and reach the other end…and back to the middle to jump down to the ground. Yes, jump! I think I can’t but I have no way to go down but to jump. Despite of the safety equipment that I am wearing, the fear of falling from that 2-storey high catwalk almost made me faint. Many times we were told that we’re safe with the safety equipments that we have but that didn’t take away my fears. However, after that “conquering our fears” activity, it was a lot different. I feel fulfilled and I would love to do it again but still, with fear of falling but maybe not as intense as the first time.
