So far, so good
What’s up? Nothing so much going around here except that Ace called for vacation leave yesterday to watch over me keep me company. I have a slight fever when I woke up that started the day before. Since Che2x is not around and I don’t have company, Ace decided to stay at home. I am insisting I would be fine, and I do have company – Kiaw2x, Puto and Maya – but they cannot look after me when my fever would get worse. Anyway, I spent the morning in bed and in the afternoon, when I felt a little bit fine, we went to SM for grocery shopping. There’s supermarkets near us but we prefer going to SM which is about 15-minute ride from here for a change. We bought our necessities and the ingredients for my Gambas al Ajillo which we had for dinner.
After my 1-hour training in the evening, Ace watched “A Very Special Love” – a Tagalog movie starred by Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd. We have actually watched it in Cinema One the other night but he wasn’t contented. He downloaded a copy from the net so he could watch it over and over again. I couldn’t say “baduy” because I also enjoyed the movie.*lol*. Talk about young professionals being in love which reminded me of my younger years. Oppsss….I am not that old as what you are thinking. My age is still in the figures of the calendar! Back to the movie, so I joined Ace in watching it again in the computer last night before I reported for another hour of work with the support group.
Today, Ace was on a half-day leave. If not because of his colleague that will be attending his grandmother’s burial this afternoon, Ace won’t be reporting to work. But since they both were told not to take a leave at the same time, Ace has no choice but to work. How I wish he could also work from home (and I know that’s what he wanted to do). Hmmm….we are actually waiting for another vacancy (that fits his qualifications) in the company I am working for so he could try his luck. For now, he still has to carry the burden of being a corporate slave and enjoy the benefits of being an employee. :-)
