Drooling over RVs

When will RV’s be widely used in this part of the globe? When I told Ace that Mommy Julie and Joe got an RV, he was drooling and even said that he wanted to go there. Obviously, he’s so desperate to try that RV*lol*. I was just thinking if RVs could be possible here. Should that time would come, camping grounds would then turn to rv parks. How I wish RV parks would be complete with facilities like the RV parks at the other side of the world and finding one would be as easy as finding an RV park at goodsampark.com.

Working, mourning and rejoicing

Today’s supposed to be rest day. If I am still with the rat race, I should be working on half day today. But since I chose to work from home, Saturdays are even spent online except for some occassions that I am out of the house so I am forced to be on haitus. Imagine I have 20 pending tasks that should be done before the cut-off on Monday so I don’t wanna waste time now.

To start off, I am done with one task and in the middle of reading facts about weight losss supplements at weightlosssupplements[dot]net when Che2x called out from her room. By the tone of her voice, I could say something happened. When she opened her bedroom door, she blurted “Ate, patay na si Papang Alfred”. My fave uncle is gone. Another family member died and the 3rd death since April of this year when my grandfather passed away (they all died due to illness). Though I felt sorrow for Papang’s loss, I am much relieved that at last his sufferings are over, his pains has ended and now he’s with the Lord and reunited with our loved ones who have gone before us including Mamang.

Papang is a diabetic and have suffered complications since last year until the doctors declared that his kidneys are not functioning…literally, gone (”melted” – as what the doctors said). From seems to be a “healthy body” (if we talk about body mass) two years ago (because he’s watching his diet then), he deteriorated so fast as if he has taken weight loss supplements. Lately he was in so much pain that I cannot even dare to look at him and his frail body. Now I am happy that he cannot feel the pain anymore. He can be forever happy wherever he is right now.

May you rest in peace, Papang!

Deceiving comments

It’s been days that I didn’t open this blog’s dashboard because I am not planning to update it until today. Besides, I don’t have pending comments to approve so I didn’t take time to log-in. Now I am surprised to see 24 pending comments! All are spam comments because I don’t know them all and their URLs are all business URLs for weightloss, loans, etc. and it’s not filtered by akismet. It’s more than a month since I noticed that spammers are using the names of my loyal commenters such as Carol, Arlene and Julie. They think I won’t be checking on the URLs before approving their comments? Though the commenters are not just leaving links but a relevant comment on my post, I do still consider it a spam because they are not bloggers with sites that could interest me. Spammers are using their heads nowadays by leaving something (not just links) hoping they could deceive us, the blog authors.

Two weeks…

right? I didn’t realize I wasn’t able to update this blog in 2 weeks. I thought it’s just last week that I posted something here only to find out that the last post was 14 days ago. Been busy with other things and doing post marathon in my other blogs so I almost neglected this one.

Anyway, nothing much happened lately except that we already got an addition to our photography gears and accessories – a Canon Speedlite 430EX II, then both I and Ace got a new pair of eyeglasses. It’s Ace’ first time to wear one. Then last Sunday, our househelp arrived so I am a little bit chore-less because somebody’s taking care of the laundry, washing the dishes, do some cleaning, and cooking for breakfast. Hence, I have more time in my hand that I’ve been “productively” spending in tending my farm in Farm Town aside from work and blogging.*lol*. So far, I’ve been loving the fact that we already have a househelp but I still need to make her schedule so I won’t be telling her from time to time what and how to do a thing. Oh well, the CHOLERIC wanted others to do things M-Y way.
