Weekend is over
What? The weekend is over?! It sure fly like a lightning that I don’t remember having a relaxing day during in 2 days. Saturday morning until mid-afternoon I was working on my pending tasks. Then we went strolling to at the mall late afternoon. Carol, Donald and the kids came for a sleepover so they could attend Sunday worship without the hassle of going down from the mountains under the heat of the sun. What’s remarkable on this day is that Ella was able to sleep with us in our room without her Mommy and Daddy! She’s got no plan of sleeping in our room but she’s just planning to enjoy the coldness of the aircon then transfer to their place at the living room. They camped in the living room because Carol wouldn’t want to sleep in our room afraid that Eman might fall from the bed. Not long after Ella is in bed, she fell asleep. We were waiting for her to wake up as she said she’ll be transferring to the living room but she’s already in deep sleep and when she woke up, it was already morning! Carol and Donald teased her about sleeping in the airconditioned room at the expense of not being able to sleep beside her parents but she replied “tinesting ko lang” (I just tried it).LOL.
Last night PILs came over for a dinner. We missed them during the holidays and new year so we prepared crabs, grilled tuna belly and beef with ampalaya (bitter gourd). Daddy grilled the tuna belly, I cooked the crabs and beef ampalaya while the rest (Carol, Donald, PILS and Ace) are catching up with each other. MIL brought brazo de mercedes from Goldilocks that we shared for dessert. It was indeed a great meal with the FAMILY (only, Borski and Nai are not around)! I can’t recall how many times MIL told me how they missed homecooked meals*flattered*.
After dinner we had short chit chat before Eman became the center of attention. We were talking about vacation (the vacation plan that is not final yet). That reminds me of theĀ south beach miami hotels that I chanced upon earlier. We’re not going to Miami, I just wanna see those beautiful hotels with super nice amenities.
