Friday Fill-Ins #169

1. The right word to describe our life is BLESSED!

2. Go out now and shut the door quietly, please.

3. Up and working at 5AM.

4. In our house is where you’ll find me.

5. Ooh! What is that creepy little creature doing inside the cabinet?

6. Window shopping to fight boredom is a good idea.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to finish at most two wikis, tomorrow my plans include working with my online tasks in the morning and strolling in the afternoon and Sunday, I want to be with everybody to celebrate Eman’s birthday!

Is this for real?

I can’t believe this. Lookie at my arms! It looks like mine and Ace’ arms are of the same size now. I should have asked Ace to pull off his sleeves so we could clearly see the difference. When I first saw this photo, I didn’t mind it actually. But when Ace saw it, he exclaimed “antaba mo na talaga, Neng!” (you’ve really gained weight, Neng!). Hmp! So that’s it, from my husband’s mouth, I am gaining weight…in short, getting fat. Take a closer look at my cheeks and chin, aren’t they fat too? Likey! Likey! That’s what I always wanted…to have some fats. But enough of the belly fat please. I could hardly fit in my pants and capris now. Do you think I need a quick trim so I’d be able to fit in my pants? It’s just alarming that I’ll have no pants to wear in the coming weeks if I continue on gaining belly fat. Hmmm…I’d better make use of my stability ball now. It’s been a week since I last sit on it as I work.

Crowning glory

My black, straight, thick hair has been my asset during my early years not until I become so jealous about my late Mamang when she’s having a regular treatment to curl her hair. I don’t know why it is customary to older women to wear their hair short and curly but just looking at the curls, I become so envious and curious so after so much prodding, Mamang decided to give in to my want. No, not only mine, including my sister Carol. So we had our bangs and ends curled using the same medicine that they used with Mamang and my aunts. I really thought that was cool and cute. But that’s where my hair started to have split ends and turned brown. I am not sure if it’s also the reason why my thick hair is slowly thinning. Just look at the photo, my scalp is showing!

I don’t know why the back of my hair line has thin hair thus showing my scalp. I am not so bothered before but after looking at this photo (which I don’t know if Ace took this intentionally to show me how my hair looks from the back), I might as well consider taking a look at hair loss treatments. But before I’d jump into it, I need to check the different hair loss treatment review for some products and procedures might not work well with me and instead of growing my hair back, I might lose more and getting back my used to be crowning glory is next to impossible.
