Zero seat fare, where art thou?

Instead of working, I am hooked at finding the greatest deal of airfare for a future trip. This is not planned but I wanted to avail of the said promo. However, I can’t seem to find the ZERO seat sale that is being offered. Hmmm…maybe tonight I could find one. I wanted to spend a weekend at the capital early next year either during, before or after Ace’ birthday. We’ve been there last year but there’s so many must-see places that we haven’t visited. But before I waste my whole afternoon looking for the cheapest rate, I would rather go back to work and check for baby shower invitations for a preggy friend. I’d check back later to see if there’s really ZERO seat sale. If I find one even during weekdays maybe I should grab that. We’ll just have to file a vacation leave from work.

Huge tires

Saw an obese baby the previous time we went to the mall. Ace and his big eyes (yes, he is that melancholic. He sees other details that I don’t mind looking at) saw the huge tires of the stroller while my eyes are on the baby. When I uttered “ang taba naman ng baby” (the baby’s so big), he answered “kaya nga malaki ang gulong ng stroller” (that’s why the stroller’s tires are huge). It was then that I noticed the huge tires that I don’t usually see with the common strollers that I have seen. That stroller we saw is like the one in the picture and it must be a Bob revolution stroller. Should we shop for stroller in the future, I want that Bob Revolution stroller because it seems easier to push around compared to the usual strollers that has four tires. But this one’s too huge for me. Hope there’s smaller version of this Bob Revolution stroller.

Bundle of joy

Paging Ms. Marj, we’re waiting for baby Ysabelle’s one of the cutest photo birth announcements! Send it now, or else….Just kidding! Ms. Marj (my ever fave former boss) gave birth to a cute baby girl last week. Saw the photos in her FB account and the baby is super cute! I wanna pinch the “healthy” rosy cheeks. That made me long more for a baby.*sigh*.

Oh, we’re just waiting for the right time. We’ll not push it if it’s not yet the time. Maybe there are things that we need to prepare. I don’t wanna be like the couple we know who had a kid and it seems they are not prepared to embrace the great responsibility of being parents. Thus, not finding a nanny became a BIG issue that isn’t resolved until now. It’s just the start of a big feud actually. If only the wife is a “mother figure”, it won’t be a big issue having a kid to take care of. But since she’s not trained and seems to be not willing to learn the trade and accept the responsibilities of being a good wife and mother, being nanny-less is a big deal and the reason for the never ending self-degrading rants. I don’t wanna be like that so I must say HE is still preparing us to that BIG responsibility.
