This is one of the food I like best in KFC. It was introduced to Ace by his college friend and roommate John Ray when he was here in the city to play sax in our wedding last year. After that first taste of KFC’s Go Go Dragon sandwich, it has become one of Ace’ favorite which also became mine when he got a piece for me.

Happy Wednesday! Join the fun here.

Nothing so much happened last weekend. We went to the city for grocery shopping solely for MY consumption when I’m left alone here when they’re all out at work and my sister in school. Got some yogurt from Nesvita and a pack Chamyto (Ella’s favorite).

Shrimps! I am craving for shrimps but just kept it to myself. I don’t want H to know it because it’s quite expensive. I just watched chef to go yesterday to satisfy my cravings but that made me crave more. Anyway, I am into looking at some recipes in the internet and have come across this site for the best Americans seafoods. The site holds a contest of seafood dishes from the best chefs in different states. Among the 5 dishes to vote in, I love Louisiana Shrimp and Andouille Cassoullet by Chef Brian Landry of Louisiana for the most obvious reason….I love shrimps a lot! It’s my most favorite seafood whatever way it will be cooked. The cook off is a great way to showcase each chef’s specialty and the delicacy of each own state. I wanted to learn cooking the shrimps that way and enjoy just how delicious it is. I’m drolling at this time!

Talking about doing the recipe at home, I would love to do it so that we could also experience fine dining at home. I hope we could go to the market one day and buy fresh shrimps for this. Its better to use domestic seafood as it is fresh and abundant. I’m sure H will love it! Anyway, to know what I am talking about, visit http://www.greatamericanseafoodcookoff.com and vote for the best recipe of your choice. I am sure you would also want to learn doing the recipe at home. Cast your vote and have the chance to win a trip to New Orleans package. Have fun!

I and Ace are not coffee drinkers. We can absolutely live without those addicting drinks.:-) When we were in Cebu City, coffee shops have sprouted like mushrooms but we didn’t dare trying any of it. After more than a year, coffee shops has become a good business around here. More and more people have become coffee shop goer. For years, we’ve been to 2 coffee shops for coffee but for business purposes because it’s one of the convenient place where you can talk about business with some associates. When we were in Cebu last year, Eunice and Johanns treated us in Starbucks. Since we are not coffee lovers, I and Ace shared in one cold coffee and we almost couldn’t say “all the way down”, the words Mamang would say when we were drinking milk during my childhood days. We had a hard time drinking all what’s in our plastic glass. Lately, seems Ace wanted to try some coffee shops here. I hope he’ll just give it a try and not be addicted to it because going to coffee shops is a very expensive habit and addiction or else, will end up getting a capresso coffee maker so that we can make our own brewed coffee here at home. :-)
