Here’s a Red grafted Cactus being displayed during Kadayawan. It’s the first time Ace saw such kind of cactus and he grabbed the camera from me and took some shots. It’s grafted . The top or the Red one was imported and the base or the body where it was attached was a native cactus. I have seen lots of it when I was still collecting cacti during my college years but never had the chance to buy one because it’s so expensive and delicate not like the non-grafted.

We were in a christening of a friend’s daughter last Sunday. After a buffet lunch at Probinsya, I was too sleepy so I told Ace we will go home and take a nap before we will have our fashion walk. We dropped by at the vendors of flower pots and bought 3 sacks of garden soil. I remember the claypot for the “paksiw” so I bought one and another one rectangular claypot for grilling. Yey! I can finally replant my euphorbias and agloenema.
Yesterday afternoon, I started my garden project and it was like “oh, this is what I miss.” I also replanted the plants we bought in the agro-trade fair last March. One pot of “white lady” now became 6 as I have cut some of the long stems and planted it in the plastic pots. Yey! Hopefully next month the plants will be in bloom.
