Yes, Ace has decided to sleep in our room after almost a month of sleeping in the living room. He finally missed our bed and the comfort of the foam as we’ve been sleeping in the floor with only 2 layers of comforter which are not thick enough to feel that we are like sleeping in our bed. Since December is barely 2 months to go, it’s getting colder in here. Though windows are all closed in our room during the night, it’s chilly as we woke up.

When I was still a child, I have always seen grandfather’s tool box and played with the tools sometimes. I thought they’re only used by carpenters as Tatang makes carpentry works then aside from farming. At home, Daddy don’t have a complete tool box so I really thought tool boxes are only for carpenters and drivers. Lately I realized how important it is to have a tool box here at home so we could easily fix something immediately and not wait for tomorrow or the next few days until we’ll be able to buy the tools needed. Tatang’s tools are all manually operated because air tools are not yet available that time. I believe tools are must haves in the house - whether it be air tools or the manually operated ones - so we need some important tools and I hope will agree with me on this.

I and Ace are not coffee drinkers. We can absolutely live without those addicting drinks.:-) When we were in Cebu City, coffee shops have sprouted like mushrooms but we didn’t dare trying any of it. After more than a year, coffee shops has become a good business around here. More and more people have become coffee shop goer. For years, we’ve been to 2 coffee shops for coffee but for business purposes because it’s one of the convenient place where you can talk about business with some associates. When we were in Cebu last year, Eunice and Johanns treated us in Starbucks. Since we are not coffee lovers, I and Ace shared in one cold coffee and we almost couldn’t say “all the way down”, the words Mamang would say when we were drinking milk during my childhood days. We had a hard time drinking all what’s in our plastic glass. Lately, seems Ace wanted to try some coffee shops here. I hope he’ll just give it a try and not be addicted to it because going to coffee shops is a very expensive habit and addiction or else, will end up getting a capresso coffee maker so that we can make our own brewed coffee here at home. :-)

Wants

Tomorrow’s malling day! For the past months, we can only go to the mall every Sunday and this is one of the things I look forward to. But that doesn’t mean we have lotsa money to spend for shopping because we seldom buy things lately. Most often, we spent much time in the hardware than in the department store. And if I’m inside the dept. store, I prefer going to the kitchenware or household items to satisfy my eyes of the things I wanted for the kitchen. Wants that remain to be wants unless we have our own place. But for little yet important things, I do buy with Ace’ approval…after giving a sound answer on his question “do we really need that?”. However, I have seen some changes on Ace’ attitude towards buying household items because he can be easily convinced now compared before. To make it lighter on our part, I go for items on sale depending on the quality and look. If it looks cheap, I don’t buy it. It should be good enough for the eyes and our pocket. :-)

PILs love watching tv…it’s their only way to relax after a day’s work. After dinner, they then couch (actually not couch because we don’t have a couch) in front of the tv and watch until the late night news program. While FIL is watching, MIL then doze off and then they’ll finally get inside their room if the program’s finished. MIL was eyeing for a rocking chair months back. She wanted to have one so she sit comfortably while watching tv. At first I was thinking of the rocking chair of our church missionary before but she was saying it’s the rattan chair that she was looking for. I wish we could give that rocking chair MIL wanted but we’ll still look for the high-end rocking chair because I think it’s more comfortable. But speaking of comfortability, I guess home theater chairs would be the best for them and for me too?LOL.
