Always intermittent

Until now I am not yet happy with PLDT’s myDSL connection and even their customer service. I am so pissed! What I only could get from them are wrinkles. Lemme have the best wrinkle creams please! PLDT myDSL’s connection is too slow not to mention that it is ALWAYS intermittent. If only I am not under the one year contract and they will charge me for pre-termination fee, I would have requested for the termination of my subscription. They’re a waste of money, actually. I find SmartBro better than PLDT that’s why I still don’t terminate my subscription with the former though I am already past the one year contract.

PC time

I dominate the use of the computer such that Ace could only use it for a while when he goes home and turns it over to me after a while. He has no choice but to watch TV until he doze off waiting for me to finish my duty. Poor man! So last night we passed by a store selling gadgets such as Mp3 players, PS2 and the like and he was telling me he might as well get a PS2 so he has something to spend his idle time while I am at work. Now that he started playing poker in facebook, I hope he won’t get addicted to it as it will mean less PC time for me. So I may agree with him on getting something that he could divert his attention when he wants to use the PC.

One thing I am looking forward to

Yey! Got a good news! My SmartBro antenna will be relocated tomorrow (per Smart’s schedule). All I have to do is wait for the contractor’s call what time will they pull out the antenna and other equipments in PILs place. Now that took them more than a week to process my relocation request and I am hoping they will make up for the inconvenience that I’ve been to due to their sucking system by just being prompt in sending the contractor to relocate my antenna tomorrow. 

Update (???)

So, the follow-up report get through the concerned people of Smart Wireless Center and I received a call tonight telling me that relocation request could still not be processed because there’s still pending request in my account. It should be closed so they could process another request. For that issue alone, it took them almost a week to give me feedback but until this hour it’s not yet resolved. The customer service officer that entertained me for my relocation application assured me that some IT people will help him resolve the issue tomorrow. Why only now? Can’t they manually make a request and override the system? Anyway, here’s hoping that it should be processed tomorrow so I could have my broadband connection transferred here in the apartment soon. 

Where did my relocation fee go?

It’s almost a week now since I applied for a relocation of my smartbro account but until now I haven’t received any feedback regarding the status. It should have been a very easy process that it will only take a few minutes for the people in Smart Communications to process it but I received a call the night after I have filed my relocation application that they cannot process my request immediately because there’s a problem with their system (again and again). Now I have called Smart hotline which made me more furios upon knowing that the relocation fee that I have paid for PhP1,450 was not reflected in their system. Read more…
