K is for…KNOT

It was in my elementary and high school years that I was exposed in KNOT TYING as one of the skills being taught in Girl Scouting. Then, I could do almost all kinds of knots and ask me where it is being used and I could give the right answer. But thanks to some of my neurons than have died and I couldn’t recall much of my KNOT TYING lessons back then. I could only name a few that I usually use such as square knot, eight knot, slip knot, highway man’s knot…what else? Anyway, I am luckier because I know those things compared to hubby who cannot recognize a knot much more its uses. Read more…

Critters time! I’m already late but I hope it is better late than never. Here’s one of the parrots in Davao Crocodile Park. In going to the park, I find the colorful parrots more interesting than the crocs.LOL. I just love the colorful feathers of the birds and they make a very nice subject in photography so we spent longer time with the parrots rather than the crocs. We are taking this photo when Ella, my niece, was complaining she’s hungry. Read more…

Here’s one of the hermet crabs Ace saw yesterday at Isla Reta 2 Beach Resort in Talicud Island. These little creatures find refuge in the huge rock formations a few meters from the shore.
