Red Ribbon surprise

I can’t remember how many times I have mentioned about not receiving gifts from Ace during special occasions but he surely surprises me during ordinary days such as this Red Ribbon cake he brought home after their company’s Christmas Party two Saturdays ago.

It was just amazing that when I texted Ace to get a cake for Thirdie because it is our puppy’s 2nd month, he was actually at Red Ribbon choosing a cake to bring home for me.LOL. So he called up and said he is at Red Ribbon buying a cake for me instead of Thirdie and I will just share the cake to our pup. Who says my husband isn’t that thoughtful? It’s just he has his own way of making me feel special especially during ordinary days.

My RED knitted top

IMG_0939

I can’t remember when was the last time I bought a RED top. It’s not actually my fave color for an item of clothing but I don’t know why it seems I am changing preference lately. I found RED attractive now. So I never had second thoughts about getting that RED knitted top from LOALDE (my dream brand for soooo long).

This is my entry for Ruby Tuesday, a RED-themed photo meme hosted by Teacher Mary. Visit her blog for more entries.

Ruby Tuesday: Jollibee

Jollibee

I and Ace don’t patronize Jollibee because we like McDonald’s food in terms of taste and quality. But since we attended a children’s party held in Jollibee, I don’t have a choice but to take photo of this huge “bee” mascot in RED and yellow.

Lightning McQueen

One of the animated movies that I enjoyed watching and wanna watch over and over again is “Cars” of Disney Pixar. I and Ace was able to watch it in the big screen when it was shown in theaters and since then, I fell in love with its characters especially Lightning McQueen. Hence when I saw this toy in my friend’s collection, can’t help but click the shutter. Isn’t McQueen so lovely?

Ruby Tuesday: Chinese decorations

The Filipino-Chinese community went out of their way and organized activities for a grand celebration of the Chinese New Year. Hence, Davao’s Chinatown (which is considered to be the largest in the country in terms of land area) was decorated with Chinese New Year decorations that are believed to bring good luck…and one of those are these…
