Sounds better

What happened to the general cleaning project? Oh, I haven’t done that much except for kitchen towels that was soaked yesterday. As I was planning to clean before lunch, Ace was home to fetch me for a check-up due to my cough that’s bothering me for centuries now. Since it’s pretty cold outside and I can’t get my neurons to command my muscles to move and clean the house, I went with Ace to downtown for a check-up and some errands. He got a referral slip from their HRD to be presented to the doctor. The company will shoulder a consultation fee of PhP 250.00 ($5.10) and we will pay for the excess of the doctor’s fee. Before we went to San Pedro Hospital (though I prefer Davao Doctor’s Hospital because their services is far better than the former), we went to the bank first to encash Ace’ check and proceeded to Pag-Ibig since it is only walking distance from the bank. Ace has to request to merge his Del Monte Fresh records and remittances to his current employer. The transaction was very quick so we were able to make it at the hospital by 3PM.

Goat’s milk

Nothing so important to share today. I was not able to resize the photos from yesterday’s trip so Ace was here for lunch to copy the photos because his officemates are looking for it since this morning. Hmmm….they’re excited to see their faces in the photos so when I finished resizing it using the EOS utility, I texted him that it’s done so he called up that he’ll be home for lunch.

This afternoon, I consumed 2 glasses of Goat’s milk. The fresh milk was bought in the dairy farm in Tugbok District by one of Ace’ colleagues going in that area.  I almost forgot about the fresh milk that Ace brought home last Saturday until I opened the fridge to get a can of softdrink. I changed my mind, I had Goat’s milk instead. It’s my first time to taste Goat’s fresh milk actually because the Dairy Farm in the university where I graduated in my hometown only produce Carabao’s milk so I never had a taste of the milk from a goat.

The BIG dream

Planning to get a car? Nope. It is actually Ace’ big dream. It seems to be every man’s obsession…and some women too. But for me, it was never an object of my dream. I would rather want to have a flower farm than a car if I’d be given the chance to choose between the two. But with Ace, it was never erased from his wishlist snd is dreaming that BIG. Oh well, dreaming and wishing is totally FREE so he can dream as big as he can and if he’d be blessed enough to get his BIG dream, getting it is not the end of the process. To be sure that his priced possession will not give him a headache, a very comprehensive auto insurance is a must in which he needs to do an analytical comparison

One meal a day

Literally, I had one meal yesterday. I woke up really feeling bad and when I got out of the room to eat, I cannot take the smell of the food in the table. I don’t know but I want to throw up with the smell of sauted onion and garlic when in fact it’s one of my fave when I am cooking. At lunch, Ace was home to check on me but I hardly ate one spoonful of rice. I asked Che2x beforehand to fry the soup pack (chicken back) hoping that I could finally eat but I ended up munching a slice of the Goldilocks bread I asked her to buy in the mall the other day. I can’t understand what I am up to, or what I am feeling. I also don’t know what I wanted to eat until at last I want something salty.  I am craving for a steamed alugbati leaves (Malabar nightshage) dipped in fish paste so I sent Che2x to the store so I could eat dinner early. She went on store hopping but she went home without the Alugbati I am craving for. Hence she got some Kangkong (Water spinach) tops in the vacant lot outside the yard. I cooked Pork Binagoongan for their dinner while Che2x steamed my Kangkong.

Sorry Mommy Julie

I don’t know what these people are up to. I’ve been receiving comments not caught by Akismet because they leave just only one link. Are they sane? Spent some time typing letters and numbers that cannot be understood. Earlier, I was really pissed off with these spam comments. My usual routine for these comments is to mark check all of them and click delete. I don’t know what came to mind earlier that I just delete it one by one until I accidentally deleted Mommy Julie’s comment. Gosh! It’s mommy Julie’s 100th comment and I deleted it. I’m sooooo SORRY, Mommy! If not because of the spam comments, it wouldn’t happen for sure and I was really dumb to delete it in a way that I don’t usually do.
