Today’s Flowers: Temple Flower (Kalachuchi)

One of the many Temple Flower (Kalachuchi) being displayed during the Kadayawan Agri-Trade Fair. This is a cultured one (thanks to horticulturists and plant breeders) and does not grow that big as the local variety. It can actually be placed indoors. I actually got two seedlings of this but it seems I would wait for years before I can see its flowers.

This is one of the flowers I saw in my Aunt’s garden. It’s a flower of an herbaceous plant that grows even with little maintenance. I don’t know it’s name, though. Just took a photo of it and forgot to ask its name.

Today’s Flowers: Malaysian mums

After so long, I decided to join Today’s Flowers today. Here’s a Malaysian mums my sister Carol bought in a flower vendor in Bankerohan Public Market before we went home the other week. The usual Malaysian mums are those with yellowish button-like in the middle while this one is greenish. I think it is another variety of mums.
