Postnuptial shoot

The other week we drove to Eden Nature Park and Resort. It’s one of the must-see places in Davao City but not that accessible to public transport. It’s going up more than 2000 feet above sea level, so it isn’t really easy to go there. Thanks to our road bikes (Ace’ and Donald’s) that we were able to reach the place without spending too much on transportation.

We’ve been there a couple of times but never had the chance to take a decent photo of me and Ace. Besides, this is the first time that we were able to go there armed with our DSLR. We didn’t let this chance pass without our photo taken together. Ace said it is our postnuptial shoot (because we didn’t have our prenuptial shoot before). Surprisingly, Ace directed our pose while Che2x took our photos. Where did he got those ideas?LOL

If only these were taken before our wedding and we are in the right outfit for pre-nuptial photos, these would be nice to have it printed as a background in ourĀ wedding invitations. Next time, we’ll be going back to Eden and I’ll make sure we are in the right outfit for post-nuptial photos. Hope I’d be more confident to pose then because I am still intimidated with the camera. More couple pose next time!

Big thanks!

Ace is overly thoughtful and generous these days.*wink*. After treating me to a massage last Monday, he gave me his full mid-year bonus as an advance birthday gift! Yay! Instead of rewarding himself with something that he so wanted to have, he thought of giving it to his wife so she could buy what she wanted. I’m touched! Anyway, won’t be spending the money yet because we still need to add some amount to buy one of my dream photo gear. Thanks neyko!

It’s ME time!

I received an email notification about the theme yesterday but I kept on delaying this. Anyway talking about ME time, I think I do have lots of it and I am glad I don’t need to ask it from Ace. Well, maybe because we don’t have kiddos that I should attend to. So everytime I am left at home, I consider it my ME time already.

Here’s the top ten things that I love doing or would love to do during my ME time.

  1. Playing with our camera while watching the sun go down (in short, sunset shoot*lorl*)
  2. Getting myself a full body massage. Wow, I love it!
  3. Shopping at ukay-ukay (2nd hand) stores…hahaha!
  4. Reading magazine
  5. Catching up with friends
  6. Sleeping
  7. Surfing the net for DIY projects
  8. Day dreaming*lol*
  9. If I go to the mall, you’ll find me at the housewares section (I just love being there!)
  10. Eating my fave street foods

Check out Ten on Tuesday for more entries.
