Late last year, we are planning to save for a used car starting this month since we cannot afford a brand new one. So we have made concrete plan on where to get the money for the savings….that is, from my blogging earnings! It would take years, though to make that plan realized but I already have the list of things needed for the used car to be up and running including the car insurance. Of course, we don’t wanna be like my cousin who bought a second hand car and met an accident that totally wrecked the car not long after he got it. So whether we’d get a car soon or not, we need to get as many auto insurance quotes as we could so we can compare and decide which is the best among the auto insurance companies. By the time we have a car, we already know what insurance company to consider.

While in the taxi last night going home from SM, Ace mentioned about surplus cars coming from Japan. It is really cheap considering that it is made by Honda. The problem is, it is right-hand drive.hahaha. Though it’s cheap, I am not tempted to save for it because I don’t want a right-hand drive (as if I am going to drive) but that car is a “deviant” here. Cars are lef-hand drive here and people are used to it so it must be a major adjustment on the part of the driver. Besides, LTO are charging right-hand drive vehicles PhP50,000 once you’re caught in the streets. Better luck next time B. We’ll just save for your dream car complete with auto accessories so we could pay for downpayment should we find one that is a good buy for us.

My bad! Instead of checking for a cheap hotel ft lauderdale, I spent my precious time doing online window shopping. Been checking blogger friend’s new stocks and I must say I am so tempted to make a purchase. If only money won’t be an issue, I would shop till I drop!hahaha. If only we won’t be going for a trip next month, I would have purchased a wrist watch for me and for Ace. It’s almost a year since we are planning to get one for Ace but with our planned trip to Metro Manila end of last next month, we are not going to have big purchases this time unless we need it in preparation for the trip. Hence no wants this time, just our needs. Oh my, I really love one of the watches that I saw in a friend’s blog.

I know Ace was drooling over this sports car yesterday. If only a fairy godmother would appear in front of me and grant my wishes, I would ask a car for Ace aside from the important things that we need. For now we don’t really need it but once our long-term plan will push through, we badly need it especially for Ace so travel from home to work would be convenient for him. If that big dream would be given to us for FREE but not insured, we would gladly accept it and surely get the best car insurance available in the market. Whew! That is really an almost impossible thing to happen…a car for free! Now I am thinking where, when or how could we get one of Ace’ biggest dream.
