WS: My washing buddy
Yey! I’ve got a new buddy. If you’ve been following my blog, you would know that I am handwashing our clothes. I’ve been doing that since then and I even said I don’t want our clothes to be machine washed. But since my back is aching everytime I do the laundry (maybe because of my scoliosis in the upper and lower back), hubby decided to get me a washing buddy also known as washing machine….here “SHE” is….
So I changed perspective. But I would still hand wash our undergarments and tops. The washing buddy will ease my burden in washing the sheets, comforters, towels, and our denim pants. We got my washing buddy last Saturday but I haven’t used it yet because it’s been pouring out here. My buddy has no spin dryer so I need to wait for Mr. Sun to come out so I won’t have problem in drying the clothes.

Even if I use the washing machine, I do hand wash our clothes too. I prefer undergarments to be hand washed rather than machine washed. Anyway, happy Monday to you.

wow, congrats with that. it must have been a hard work really to hand wash everything. tho you’re right, some garments are better to be hand wash. But still it will help you much. good for you.

I said the same thing until I found out how easy life can be with electric washer that can do all your dirty laundry… good for u.

I like what you call it… A Washing Buddy.
… I could NOT survive without my washing machine and dryer! I don’t wash anything by hand, and I never hang it to dry, I like the “fluffy” feal of clothes when they’ve been dried in the dryer… Not to mention the fact that it rains so much here that the clothes would never dry. *lol*

Nice buddy you have there. Sometimes we need to do what’s necessary to make life a wee bit easier. And with your back pains, I’d say getting you a washing buddy is a great idea.
