Early last October, we attended an event at Max’s as they promote their Beef dishes – Adobong Baka sa Gata and Beef Caldereta. Max’s Restaurant is so generous that they gave each of us a 4Sharing Meal gift certificate. Ace and I decided to share one of the GC’s with his parents so we had early dinner at Max’s Abreeza Mall one Sunday afternoon.
Us with the older and wiser version of us. I can really see how would we look like when we grow old!
Part of the 4Sharing Meal is one whole Max’s Fried Chicken - the original fried chicken with fried Sweet Potatoes on the side. As usual, the chicken is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Dip it in Max’s banana catsup and you’ll have a finger-lickin’ good experience.
I and Ace can’t get over that delicious Adobong Baka sa Gata during the event that we wanted to have it again so we chose it over Beef Caldereta. I fell in love AGAIN with the tender Adobong Baka cooked in coconut milk. This is a must try!
“Nakakahiya” if we only claim the GC and won’t have additional order so we had Sinigang na Tiyan ng Bangus to complete the meal. The sourness of “sinigang” complements the “gata” and so there goes a good pair! Nakakawala ng umay! Sinigang’s veggies are not overcooked that’s why I love it more! Besides, it’s my first time to encounter Okra in a sinigang but it’s still good.
That was a great meal and we were so full! We’re just four (with Mama who eats small portions) yet we almost finished everything. I guess they only took home two slices of chicken for their breakfast the following day. It’s indeed great to have a 4Sharing Meal with your loved ones!
I am beginning to love Max’s! Gonna try other dishes next time.
You may visit Max’s Restaurant in 2/F Abreeza Ayala Mall or in SM Lanang Premier.
