Care for coffee?
No, thanks. If others find coffee so addicting, for me it’s not. I don’t even drink a cup (except when we were treated by Ate Eunice and Kuya Johanns in Starbucks in Rustan’s, Cebu). The first group of coffee addicts that I met are my fellow operations cadets in Macondray Plastics, Inc. They were drinking coffee like an ordinary water or should I say they drink more cups of coffee than water! We actually call it a vice because they’ve been hooked to it and their day would not be complete without drinking cups of coffee. Much more when Sir JAC (Jose A. Castro, Jr.) – the President – allowed them to use his nespresso machine (bless his heart) and they went crazy over it. For years of associating with my coffee addict officemates, convincing me to join them in their vice is absolutely a failure.
