Kerslyn’s Comfort Zone

For more than a month now, we (me, Ace, my sister, BIL and their kids) have this addicting Saturday habit. We join the crowd in waiting for the American Surplus warehouse to open at 10:00 in the morning. They have new arrivals during Saturdays and opening of the warehouse door is the most anticipated event. Everybody (including us) would join the 100 meter run inside the warehouse to where the toys are placed and pick up toys as quick as we can. We have to be quick or else we couldn’t get branded nice toys that looks like new.

The place is home to pre-owned branded toys (dolls, hard toys, stuffed toys) for kids and kids at heart.

This is heaven for doll collectors who are collecting branded dolls from the U.S.

and stuffed toys and rag doll collectors too!

Hard toys for kids of all ages. Branded toys are all here from Fischer Price, VTech, Little Tikes, and a lot more!

We usually stay from morning till afternoon in the place. While my sister scrutinizes the mounts of toys we picked (that she is selling online), Eman and Ella plays around to their hearts’ content.

Eman plays with all sort of toys from his favorite heavy equipment toys…

to police cars and ambulance (he makes sound while playing, take note!)

and Educational toys too!

Lots of people go to E&JJ Enterprises to buy toys, furniture, shoes, housewares, tools, appliances, and a lot more! People from all walks of life go there and shop. Even professionals who can afford to buy brand new stuff at the malls shop there too! Sometimes, professionals go their after work or during their break time. Students found their way to the warehouse too! A lot of times I saw students in their nursing uniforms are usually their to look for nursing shoes. 

If most people buy toys, I get household items from there. I got decorative porcelain pots, kitchenware, candle holders, from them a few years ago. Lately I got pyrex and corning bowls. Ace got his hotwheels and matchbox collection from their too. My sister, on the other hand, buys her collection of dolls from there aside from the toys that she buys for her online shop. BIL got his collection of CAT remote controlled heavy equipment toys. Most of Eman and Ella’s toys are from the American Surplus too!

So that how we usually spend our family bonding on Saturdays. Sometimes, we go there during weekdays too!
