Where did my relocation fee go?

It’s almost a week now since I applied for a relocation of my smartbro account but until now I haven’t received any feedback regarding the status. It should have been a very easy process that it will only take a few minutes for the people in Smart Communications to process it but I received a call the night after I have filed my relocation application that they cannot process my request immediately because there’s a problem with their system (again and again). Now I have called Smart hotline which made me more furios upon knowing that the relocation fee that I have paid for PhP1,450 was not reflected in their system. The customer representative cannot even say where did my payment go and all she could say is “sorry for the inconvenience, ma’am”. That’s all? It was really inconvenient for me that it’s been days since I paid for that relocation fee but until now it wasn’t even processed. So how could the installer receive a service order now that people from Smart Communications didn’t even processed my request? What da….! Now I need to go back to Smart Wireless Center to personally follow-up my request. (???) What’s the use of their system and hotline  if I still need to go there and follow up my request? Their system really sucks. If only I don’t need my broadband to be transferred here in the apartment, I would have requested for permanent disconnection with them. But since I still need their poor service, and I don’t have a choice but to continue on subscribing on them, all I could do is wait for them to process my relocation request until the next century. Yes, century…because it seems like forever before they can address a subscriber’s concern and when I asked the e-rep earlier how many centuries before the report she made about my call could reach Gaisano Mall’s Smart Wireless Center, she corrected me “not centuries Ma’am, within 24 hrs only”. Yeah, I know….it’s an exaggeration but I am pretty sure that’s how their system works. It made me think that instead of spending so much on their promotions about SmartBro even to the point of having digital signage in some of their centers and in malls,  the huge billboards that costs thousands of pesos, and the TV ads that costs hundreds of thousands to draw in subscribers they should have spent it in improving their system and facilities so people will be happy with their services. Then that would be the time they will bring in money to the company because subscribers will stay with them and will not transfer to other internet service provider.

    this only means that they are fast on collections of fees but not on services :)
