Weekend Snapshot: Fluvial Parade

Since I joined the 2nd Canon Kadayawan Photo Contest, I need to shoot in different Kadayawan activities. Last Friday was the fluvial parade held in Davao River. Glad that Che2x has no class so she tagged along with me. We were at the docking area past 1PM and we waited for almost 2hrs before we got to see the first boat. Anyway, while waiting, I got some snaps of the people around me.

these boys had fun diving to the water…

people really have to find the best spot for them to see the scene. The boys even climbed up the tree for a sure view of the fluvial parade.

mother and child under the heat of the sun…

the natives dressed in their tribe’s attire anxiously waiting to see their entry for the fluvial parade

at last, the long wait is over…
