Comfy shoes
I was about to have my afternoon nap yesterday when a former officemate called regarding some concerns. The supposed to be short call last for 20 minutes catching up on each other and how the plant operation is going under the “magic wand” of the controversial fairy godmother err plant manager. I wasn’t surprised when he broke the news that many have left the company to work in the Middle East much more I wasn’t surprised to know that they resigned because of issues with the plant manager. Woaaaa! It’s not surprising really. I am expecting that to happen. The former officemate actually mentioned that to stop people from jumping out of the boat is to change the plant manager. Absolutely right! I just don’t know if people at the top are seeing the scenario with the same perspective as that of the people in the plant. It could also be possible that they can see the concerns but cannot kick out the plant manager because he’s one of GM’s loyal man. Obviously, he’s one of the GM’s “loyal people” in their previous work. Whatever! Bahala na si batman sa kanila. I am just sad for the employees who were supposed to be assets of the company and yet they were leaving because of dissatisfaction with the PM.
Also, I felt terribly sad for my close friends in the company. We actually have the same problems before….issues with INCONSIDERATE, SARCASTIC, TACTLESS, UNFAIR boss. They have no choice but to struggle everyday dealing with their superiors. They actually learned to take a leave everytime they don’t wanna see their boss’ faces which they adapted from me. It’s one effective way to keep my sanity. Opps, I am obviously not over with the plant manager. I don’t know if I am still bitter. I just wanna talk about my fate with my former administrative boss. Anyway, I am still thankful. If not because of him, I would not realize that I love to be at home than being in the rat race.
So much about my unhappy experience and we’ll talk about my another unhappy experience of losing my new sandals and Ace’ priced leather shoes. Now he only have one working shoes that he’s comfortable wearing. We’re actually in the same boat. I was left with one casual shoes…no alternate. I don’t actually buy shoes just for fashion that’s why I only have one. I want functional shoes that is so comfortable to my feet. Also, I hope I could get a pair of shoes for me and Ace to replace the lost one but finding for our type of shoes means mall hopping and worse, end up empty-handed after shoe-searching. So I was thinking of looking for some shoes online. I have read a post of Mommy Arlene a month ago about Beautifeel shoes so I was looking for some of their shoes a while ago. They really are beautiful and I must say very comfy to the feet. I hope I could also find such in the shoe stores.
