I remember complaining about the banana and coconut trees blocking a beautiful view of the sky from our place. But I learned to appreciate it lately. So what if there are coconuts and bananas? They make a good foreground and frame too. For this week, here’s one of my photos of warm afternoon when hues of red dominate the sky during sunset. The trees and leaves could not stop me from taking photos.

It doesn’t say SOS literally but in a sense, it is. Ace was very proud to show me this photo he took while he was waiting for us in Sta. Ana Wharf last Saturday. I didn’t take a closer look at it, I just said “ok” not realizing that it can be an entry for Ruby Tuesday until I browse through all the photos we took during the weekend. Now I also realized why Ace was too proud to show me the photo…it reads “…a joint project of…and Chiquita Unifrutti Philippines” now Unifrutti Services, Inc. and that’s where he belongs!

Happy Tuesday! Visit here for more Ruby entries.

When I was still a child, I have always seen grandfather’s tool box and played with the tools sometimes. I thought they’re only used by carpenters as Tatang makes carpentry works then aside from farming. At home, Daddy don’t have a complete tool box so I really thought tool boxes are only for carpenters and drivers. Lately I realized how important it is to have a tool box here at home so we could easily fix something immediately and not wait for tomorrow or the next few days until we’ll be able to buy the tools needed. Tatang’s tools are all manually operated because air tools are not yet available that time. I believe tools are must haves in the house - whether it be air tools or the manually operated ones - so we need some important tools and I hope will agree with me on this.

Here’s one of the hermet crabs Ace saw yesterday at Isla Reta 2 Beach Resort in Talicud Island. These little creatures find refuge in the huge rock formations a few meters from the shore.

Ace had a badminton practice the other night at Holiday Gym and Spa. He excitedly broke the news that their company has a corporate account with the establishment and that they can have a workout or use the gym’s facilities for free. It’s a privilege they will enjoy as an employee of Unifrutti.
