Today is Daddy’s birthday! He’s celebrating it (not with a party but probably with a native Tinolang manok with his siblings and other relatives in his hometown while we (all his Tres Marias) are here at home. Wish Daddy’s here so we could celebrate his special day even with just a simple dinner here at home. We haven’t send him his birthday present yet, but I’ll be sending something for him when Che2x goes home to CDO next week. It wouldn’t be something grand like a leather briefcase for men because he will most probably not use it, but something that he could use while in his farm.
Times like this, I wish Daddy’s farm is just in a nearby province so we can visit him and his farm more often. It’s been almost a decade since I was in Pagadian City. It’s been almost a decade since I last saw my paternal relatives so I wanted to visit the place if time and budget permits soon. I wanted to see the lot that my uncle is selling to us. Hubby and I decided to get a lot near Daddy’s siblings so we won’t be worrying about him too much when he’s alone in his farm.

We went to a resort in Samal Island yesterday for our Team Building. The resort is located in the other side of Samal facing Davao Oriental which is 2 hours travel time via boat. We took the shorter way which is passing by Sasa where I took this photo of the port side URC-CMC Davao – my previous workplace!

I miss this familiar place though I don’t go in that side frequently during my stay in the company (only when I am investigating or checking on something). I don’t actually know how the port side of the company looks like during my first few months. I was only there for the first time when we are looking for a secluded place where to have our dance practice for the Christmas Party and the second time was when I was investigating on a certain case. It’s so refreshing sitting by the sea during afternoons BUT I was too afraid to go near the edge because the water is too deep. Huge cargo vessel dock in the port to unload wheat every three months and the vessel is so huge that it sometimes extend to the port side of Legaspi Oil Company on the left side and InterCo on the right. So the water must be too deep for the huge cargo vessels to be able to dock.
