Kerslyn’s Comfort Zone

Since I got my pro account on flickr, it’s almost everyday that I am uploading our photos. Now, almost 9,000 photos (but most are set to private) are being uploaded and I am still on the first week of October of 2008! Still, I have a very long way to go. Uploading takes time as each photo is around 2 to 4 MB in size so when I boot the computer early in the morning until I shutdown at almost 1AM the following day, the flickr desktop uploader is doing its thing. If only I could do something to make uploading faster, I would have done it because I am itching to finish uploading all the backlogs and work on the present month. Hayts!

Anyway, Ace was able to have a glimpse of my photostream and he asked if I already received comments from flickr buddies. Nah, I only have few flickr buddies. I am not yet in the mood to collect flickr friends, just a few friends whom I know that have flickr account were added on my buddy list. Besides, I am not after the comments. I got a pro account mainly because I want an unlimited space where I could upload the photos in full resolution and I want to have full control of my photos! Also, I am paranoid like Mommy Julie and we’re just being prepared for the worst scenario…to lose the house from fire and we couldn’t save the computer where the files are stored (God forbid!)…so we’re just being GIRL SCOUTS. )
