Trying and waiting mode
Who says we don’t want to have kiddos? We want it but it seems it’s not yet time for us to have our bundle of joy. We’re praying it would be soon and we’re not losing hope. Some are even trying for years….much longer than us and when they least expect it, there comes the baby! One of my former boss waited for thirteen years. One of my older cousin is still working up. Some friends are also trying. So we’re not alone in this dilemma. But we came to the point of considering to adopt a baby. We can have one from one of RSCC in DSWD. There’s a lot of abandoned children there. We just to need to visit the center, and prepare the necessary papers. Once our application for adoption is approved, we can have an instant baby!
With the instant baby, I won’t have to go through 9 long months of pregnancy. I won’t need prenatal check-ups and won’t need to take a prenatal vitamin. I won’t have to go through labor pains and experience giving birth. But hey, it’s not definite yet. I am just conditioning my mind should we proceed with this idea. There’s still a lot to consider and for sure this will take us years to decide. Hence we’re still in trying and waiting mode.

We would have gone through adoption too, had we not finally gotten pregnant with Jared (took almost 3 years to conceive)… I think it’s a good way to go, if you’re impatient like I was about having a baby.

3 years? so we still have a few months to try harder. if only somebody will leave a baby at our gate, we would gladly keep it.
