Sky Watch Friday #11

This is one of the cloud formations we took during sunset shoot or our so-called bonding time with hubby. I like it when he goes with me for a shoot because he carries the tripod.LOL. It’s a fair day and no dramatic and colorful sunset so we only had cloud formations for the sunset photos.

Sky Watch Friday #9

I was wondering yesterday what will I post for Sky Watch. It’s been a while since I went out to shoot and our next sunrise shoot will be on Saturday. As I browse through the photos in my file, I remember I haven’t posted the photos during my 2nd “me and nature” time months back. I intentionally didn’t post it because I’m not satisfied with the result. Mr. Sun hid behind thick clouds that time. As I went through each photo, I realized they are all beautiful. Sunset is not all about taking photo of Mr. Sun going down the horizon. Sometimes, nature’s wonders works in mysterious ways that we see this….

The photo is untitled. I cannot grasp the right word for its title. Can you name it for me pls? Thank you! You may want to see my other entries in Life’s Lessons, Piece of Mine, and Life in a Snapshot. Check out other sky watch’ home here. Happy Sky Watch everybody!

Pink Clouds

Pink Clouds

Years back, everytime I see clouds I was like “wow. Wish I have a camera”. Whether that cloud is the common cumulus, nimbus, stratus or whatever as long as it forms beautifully in the sky, it’s heaven to me. I’ve been oriented that way because when I was growing up, all I could see is the landscape…the ricefields, the grasslands, and the mountain ranges far from our place. Hence, I developed my passion for nature because it’s what I always see. I don’t have other things to appreciate with except for the trees, blue skies, the clouds, the sunrise over Mt. Apo where I can directly see from my bedroom window, the sunset that I can view from our backyard, the stars and the moon. I have seen pink clouds before but I wasn’t able to capture it. It’s only in my memory. Now, I had to walk a few hundred meters to watch the sunset where I also took this PINK CLOUDS. This was taken during one of my “me and nature” time.

Happy Friday!

Sky Watch Friday: Mountains of clouds

Ace took a snap of the mountains of clouds one Sunday afternoon when we’re on our way back to the city after our nature tripping. We are on mobile that time and the camera has no filter yet. I cannot imagine how this photo would look like if we have UV filter installed in the lens. Anyway, hope this one looks great from your end.

Sky Watch Friday: Cotton candy in the sky

This was taken back home. Looks like cotton candy? Isn’t it lovely? One of nature’s wonders…so lovely to see but sometimes left unnoticed. How I wish I could capture clouds from our place now with such beauty.
