At times Che2x would ask for her eyes to be checked. She wanted to wear eyeglasses because she claims there’s something wrong with her eyes. Hmmm…that’s what she gets for being hardheaded. I usually caught her reading while lying with the light facing away from her or writing something with her back against the light which blocks the light from illuminating on what she’s reading or writing. 

Since complete prescription eyeglasses are a bit costly, maybe she could have her eyes checked in the optical shop that offers free eye check-up and she can save from her allowance a certain amount so she could avail of the Holiday Glass Frames From Zenni Optical. The popular online eyeglasses shop that offers as low as $ 8 Complete Rx Eyeglasses so it would not take her long to save for her eyeglasses. I am good girl now because I am wearing my old eyeglasses. Hence, headache from eye strain is gone. Since then, I have this wrong attitude that my optometrist was trying to correct. I don’t wear my eyeglasses first hour in the morning until my I can feel eye strain, that’s the time I put on my glasses. So, at the end of the day, I am suffering from red strained eyes. My eye doctor often told me to wear my glasses ALL THE TIME. I should only take it off when I sleep or bathe. Hardheaded me! So I am now taking the dose of my own medicine.

Ella saw eyeglasses in a Korean RTW store near our church building and asked Carol to buy it as she said she is cute wearing it. After the worship service, Manang Inday and Manong Joey (which she fondly calls Mommy Day and Daddy Jo) treated us to a buffet lunch. Since we are all 10 (including Ella) we took a jeepney because if we’ll take a taxi, we need 2 or 3 taxis. While on the jeepney, she noticed me and Ace on our sunglasses and she immediately said “Mommy saan yung shades ko?” (Mommy, where’s my shades?). She was referring to the clear glasses with black frame she bought earlier. She was so cute with the glasses and she wore it the whole time. Here’s how she looks with her glasses…taken at People’s Park
