I’m broke. Che2x has to go to school yesterday with only PhP15. Just enough for her fare to school from home. From my previous earnings I have paid for her school fees, and my smartbro bill. Nothing’s left with me. I am expecting to withdraw my earnings Wednesday next week and I don’t know where I should get for Che2x’s daily expenses to school until next week. I don’t wanna ask Ace for her allowance because we have agreed about it before though I borrow from him at times and pay him when I receive my earnings. Yesterday, Ace left PhP100 in case I wanted to buy something. I saved it for Che2x’s allowance today. For tomorrow, I don’t know where to get it or I could just borrow from Ace maybe. This same situation is what we have gone through when I was in school. There are times when Mamang has to borrow money for our allowance. Now I don’t know what happened to the pension Daddy receives that was supposed to be for Che2x’s daily allowance. The last time Daddy texted me about it, he said he wanted to use the money to build a hut where he could stay in the farm. What we have agreed before the school year started is that he will not send money for a few months because he will use it to buy seedlings to be planted in the farm. When I asked him for any update about the seedlings, he said the money is not enough. Whatever! I just hope the money is being spent for its purpose because it is Mamang’s money afterall. 

My first wrist watch was a gift from Mamang when I graduated in high school. I like it because I feel like more of a lady if I put on the watch. After more than 6 months, I lost it. I forgot to take it off before taking a bath in my dormitory so I just put it somewhere in the bathroom. 30 minutes after taking a bath, I remember my watch but when I checked it in the area where I placed it, it’s LOST. I was so pissed! How come did I forget about it? I was so worried Mamang will get mad. Imagine, she has worked to give me the watch and now it’s gone. We checked on everybody in the dorm but nobody claimed to have seen it and nobody claimed she get it. Of course! No thief will claim that she is one. I called Mamang back home informing her of what happened and I was releived she didn’t get mad. She just said “we cannot do anything with it now”. After that lost watch, Mamang gave me and Carol another wrist watch. This time, I didn’t lost it. It just didn’t work well after 3 days of not using it. It’s an automatic watch so it seems “crazy” (because of the unpredictable advance or delay in time) when not used. After that 2 wrist watches from Mamang, I haven’t get one for me. Ace said he’ll buy one for me. Let’s see if he’s true to his words. But one thing is for sure….I will never have a watch unless Ace has something new. He only remembers to get me one if I buy something for him or he gets a thing for himself. Weird as it may seem. It’s his way of giving back. Anyway, I wanted to get him another watch because the one I gave him last wear isn’t working anymore. Need a high quality of watch this time so that it will last long. Preferably, I will get one from Nautica watches it seems very durable. I really hope it is.   

Got this photo in a resort back home where Alyssa (a cousin’s daughter) celebrated her brithday after Mamang’s death anniversary. It’s a yellow single Gumamela (Hibiscus rosa sinensis). I was really itching to cut a small branch because plants of this kind costs more than $4 for each pot.hahaha. Anyway, got this photo instead…and was hoping to buy different varieties come Kadayawan Festival which is 2 months from now.

Here’s our latest photo with my siblings during Ella’s birthday. We are all girls that made Daddy more strict in bringing us up. The two are obviously taller than me. Seems I am the youngest.LOL. Who would think that we are sisters? Some could hardly believe we are sisters because we don’t have resemblance. Some of my features I got from Mamang while Carol and Che’s features are more of Daddy’s.

My Aunt also bought flowers for Mamang and she arranged it herself. I took so many pictures of the flowers, experimenting on the camera’s different settings. Among others, I am now making good in taking portrait pictures as I can now see the difference between portrait and other photos taken using other settings. I like this shot giving emphasis on the Baby’s Breath with Mamang’s headstone on the background.
