Camera Critters

I was taking photos of Maya and Puto yesterday. Puto was cooperative as well as Maya. As I was taking a snap of Puto doing his stretching thing, I saw Maya peeping at the neighborhood. She loves doing it and sometimes, Puto tried doing it but because of his height, he us unsuccessful. I just don’t know what she’s looking at. Looking for some male dog, huh?

Camera Critters: Maya

Camera Critters

As I mentioned in my previous posts, we have 2 pet dogs named Puto and Maya. I have tried all my best to get a photo of the two dogs but only Maya is cooperative. Puto is camera shy as he walks away everytime he sees the camera is focused on him. For this week, I’ll be posting only Maya’s photo and I hope I could get a nice shot of Puto too. Anyway, here’s our very calm and refined dog Maya.

Sneaking Cat

Kiawkiaw sneaked out yesterday when Che-Che was busy doing the laundry at the back and I was doing something in front of the PC. Che-Che left the back door open and Kiawkiaw was able to sneaked out unnoticed. When she noticed the cat is not disturbing her, she started calling KiawKiaw and no traces of the cat even inside the house. Che-Che looked for her and the kids also helped looking for the feline around the neighborhood but they weren’t able to find it. She went back home feeling guilty and worried. She’s worried Ace will get mad to her and was uttering, “KiawKiaw will be back because nobody will feed him” trying to console herself. Still, we take turns in calling on KiawKiaw’s name but we didn’t get any answer.

When Ace arrived, Che-Che immediately told him that KiawKiaw sneaked out and asked him not to get mad at her. Ace wasn’t mad though. He was just hoping that our feline would come home soon. I and Che-Che transferred the dogs on the other side of the house so that they won’t scare the cat away in case he’ll get home. When we’re about to retire for the day, Ace told FIL to leave the door half-open so that KiawKiaw can get inside anytime he’ll arrive.

Earlier today, Che-Che was still praying that KiawKiaw would come home and was even calling the cat’s name. After waiting for hours, we kept ourselves busy with our own thing until we forgot about KiawKiaw for a while. I almost jumped out of my seat when I heard the cat’s voice. I was so happy to pick him up and hurriedly called Che-Che who’s busy with her laundry. She was so thankful that the cat finally came home and that Ace won’t be mad. Anyway, KiawKiaw looks hungry and his fur are so dirty. Look at the traces of charcoal in his fur. Hmmm…that sneaking cat doesn’t know how to project in front of the cam.

Pool toys for the little fella

Early this morning, I was thinking of the pool toys I have seen in the net the other day. I haven’t bookmarked it and I was still hoping I could locate it when the connection will be restored because I would love to have it as a present for Ella on her birthday as the little fella loves swimming so much.

Finally internet is up! It’s been almost 24 hours since it was down and  I just can’t relax while we don’t have connection. The downtime resulted in a tons of laundry being done. Yey! As usual, my back aches but a least I can get rid of the eye sore in our room. It’s a load of curtains, sheets, table cloths, etc. I can’t wait for Ace to get home so that I could have a massage. That’s how Ace treats me after doing bunch of house chores. Guess to lessen his guilt of not being able to help.*LOL*.

Anyway, after doing the laundry, I was able to get hold of our cam and took photos of the Euphorbias in bloom. There’s not much flowers though as it is still not in full bloom because it wasn’t fertilized since then. I am trying to take shots of Puto and Maya but they aren’t that cooperative. Puto is camera shy. He hides away when he sees me focusing the cam on him. Got a photo of Maya at first but when she sees me focusing the cam on her, she would reach for it and try to kiss the lens. Also, there’s a bunch of birds in the yard but I am not lucky to get a photo because Puto scares them away and they flew in different directions. I have seen one butterfly but never get a photo of it. Argh. Not so lucky day with my cam.

After lunch,  I took a nap but I can’t sleep well due to summer heat. It’s been very humid. So nice to have a refreshing dip in the pool or in the beach. If Ella was here, she would surely love to go to the pool and have some pool toys for fun. I hope to get something like this for Ella so she will have a great fun everytime she bathes in the pool.
