Pink Clouds

Pink Clouds

Years back, everytime I see clouds I was like “wow. Wish I have a camera”. Whether that cloud is the common cumulus, nimbus, stratus or whatever as long as it forms beautifully in the sky, it’s heaven to me. I’ve been oriented that way because when I was growing up, all I could see is the landscape…the ricefields, the grasslands, and the mountain ranges far from our place. Hence, I developed my passion for nature because it’s what I always see. I don’t have other things to appreciate with except for the trees, blue skies, the clouds, the sunrise over Mt. Apo where I can directly see from my bedroom window, the sunset that I can view from our backyard, the stars and the moon. I have seen pink clouds before but I wasn’t able to capture it. It’s only in my memory. Now, I had to walk a few hundred meters to watch the sunset where I also took this PINK CLOUDS. This was taken during one of my “me and nature” time.

Happy Friday!

Rainbow streaks

Rainbow streaks

On my 2nd sunset shoot in Suncity, it’s not quite dramatic as the previous day but it has a different drama. Nature really is unexpected. Because of the thick cumulus clouds covering the sun, seems Mr. Sun is trying to convey “hey, I am here” thru the rainbow streaks that appeared above those heap of fluffy clouds.

LP: Sa Gawing Kanluran

LP: Sa Gawing Kanluran

This is what we permanently see in the west anywhere in the world. This is one of the best things nature can offer is the sunset and I am just lucky to see it everyday except if it’s overcast or raining not like when I was still the the rat race, I seldom get to see the sun go down in the horizon. Watching the sun go down in the West is one of my favorite things to do since I was a child because sunsets can be clearly seen from our place back then.

Sky Watch Friday: Silhouette

Sky Watch Friday: Silhouette

Sky Watch was Dots great idea

This was taken the other day….my first shoot of sunset. I was about to go home when I took a snap of this pine tree against the beautiful yellow and blue sky. No post processing has been done so all colors are original.*wink*. Only the image size was adjusted and the embedded photoblog’s URL. I showed this to my co-coder and she said it seemed to be a painting. Do you agree with her? I hope to take more photos of this kind…nature is really wonderful! More of my sunset photos here.
